We have brought together local radio and TV personalities along with area politicians to raise money for Melissa’s Living Legacy, a local organization that helps teens living with cancer. The celebrity bartenders will be mixing and mingling all night to help raise money for a great local organization.
Melissa’s Living Legacy is inspired by the life of Melissa Sengbusch who died in June, 2000 at age 19 of acute myeloid leukemia. Just days before she died, Melissa asked her mother, Lauren Spiker, to use what she had learned from her daughter’s experience to “make a difference – to make things better.” Melissa’s last request became her living legacy for all other teens facing a cancer diagnosis.
