The Rochester Young Professionals (RYP) is an informal peer networking organization that connects ambitious individuals to Rochester's unique cultural, recreational, social, volunteer and professional development opportunities. Our mission is to inform, connect, involve and engage our members in the growth and success of this region.

We're all about facilitating connections among Rochester's young professional community, and especially supporting Rochester's growth. This commitment to our community includes being proactive in contributing our time to community service initatives.

Our Activities

Holding social gatherings... facilitating professional networking... attending local cultural events...giving back through community-involvement events.... These are just a sampling of the many things we do-- the goal is to help YOU connect with other great people in Rochester with whom you can build up long-term business and/or social relationships.

Organizing great social, professional, and community-involvement activities in Greater Rochester, building lasting connections within Rochester's young professional community and beyond. Guiding the growth and evolution of our community, educating our members about the wealth of opportunities in Greater Rochester-- culturally, professionally, academically, and ways to give back. Connecting people to the right resources in Rochester to help them be as successful as possible in all aspects of their life.

Our Vision

We will be instrumental in building a dynamic professional community in Greater Rochester-- we will help Rochester retain and attract people to our community through an exciting social and recreational environment, a robust economic and employment environment, and a renewed sense of pride and interest in the future of Rochester. Together, we will be agents of positive change in the community, guiding our community forward as it continues to evolve.
